Vaccination Requirements
At Mind Over Muzzle Where we Play to Learn, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all our furry friends. To ensure a positive and healthy environment for everyone, we have a few vaccination requirements in place.
Required Vaccinations:
Rabies: This vaccine is mandatory for all dogs participating in our training programs. It helps prevent the spread of rabies, protecting not only your pet but others as well.
DHPP: The DHPP vaccine, which stands for Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus, is crucial to safeguard your dog against these contagious diseases.
For puppies up to six (6) months of age, we require them to have at least one round of DAPP administered a week before the start of class.
Bordetella: Commonly known as kennel cough, Bordetella is highly contagious among dogs in close quarters. Therefore, we require this vaccine to prevent the spread within our facility.
Policy Details:
Proof of Vaccination: Prior to enrolling in any of our classes or programs, we kindly ask all dog owners to provide up-to-date vaccination records from their veterinarian.
Vaccination Schedule: Dogs must be current on all required vaccinations based on their veterinarian's recommended schedule. This helps maintain a healthy environment for all participants.
Booster Shots: Regular booster shots are essential to ensure continued immunity. Please keep track of your dog's vaccination schedule and provide updated records as needed.
Ensuring that all dogs are vaccinated not only protects individual pets but also contributes to the overall well-being of our entire dog community. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable training environment for all!
If you have any questions or need further clarification on our vaccination requirements, feel free to reach out to our team at Mind Over Muzzle Where we Play to Learn. Let's work together to keep our dogs happy, healthy, and ready to learn!

At Mind Over Muzzle Where we Play to Learn, we understand the challenges that come with having a reactive dog - one who may be scared, shy, or nervous in certain situations. We believe that every dog deserves a chance to feel safe and comfortable in the world, and we are here to help.

Give your scared, shy, or nervous dog the gift of a brighter, more positive future. Contact us at Mind Over Muzzle Where we Play to Learn to start your journey towards a stronger bond and a happier, more confident pup. This will include an assessment to see if your dog would be comfortable in a group class or if private classes are the best way to start this transformative journey together.
Any customer that comes to me for evaluation and consultation that leads to a private lesson plan is guaranteed access for life, meaning, that once we agree to a lesson plan and finish it - if your pup starts to relapse or start exhibiting new behaviors I am happy to work with you to tweak your lesson plan and help get to the root of the problem for the life of your pet at no additional cost to you.
