Dog Obedience - Group Class Session I (Summer 26):  Longview Women’s Club

Evenings from 6-7 pm

Basic obedience for dogs of all ages (9 months and older) whether they are new to training or need a refresher. We will cover Sit, Down, Stay, Come, proper leash handling and walking at heel in a fun and positive environment that will help deepen the bond between pet and pet parent. 

Already had the basics: want to level up - let me know. I will assess and we will add difficulty so you can earn an Intermediate Certificate instead.

Class is not for unfriendly or reactive dogs.  For training they will need a flat collar and 4-6 ft leash (preferably flat). No flexi, expandable, or retractable leashes, and small soft treats.

30 - 90 minutes for us to assess. Depending on the issues. Then we will offer some training techniques, and a game or two to play to work on the behavior that needs some work.

$70 per session

As a Pro-dog Trainer and partner with Absolute Dogs there is a course for just about anything. All positive, concept based training where you teach your dog through playing games.

This class is for the babies. Once they have had two rounds of vaccines they are welcome in. We accept up to 9 months of age.

In this class, we will learn the fundamentals of communicating with your pup. Basic commands learned will include: Name Game, Focus, introduction to leash, Body Handling, and an introduction to some basics (sit, down, stay, and place)

We will play games, socialize, have fun, and learn.

Tuition: $250 for one class a week for six weeks. At the end you will qualify to register your pup as a STAR Pup!

One-on-one lessons are for the doggos that need a little boost in confidence before joining a larger group. These would be for our shy, fearful, even a little snarky kiddos. This is also for the pet parents who would rather go at their own pace and have lots of 1 on 1 with the instructor. We will tailor a lesson plan to the unique needs of you and your star pupil.

Tuition: $400.00 for 5 one hour sessions conducted in your home where your pup is most comfortable.

Prerequisite: Must be a current service dog/or passed a CGC evaluation

If your disability requires a new service task be learned by your service dog we can help with the following tasks:

Deep pressure therapy: chin rest, lap place, heart place

Med Retrieval

Phone Retrieval

$150 per task

Is your dog ready to be evaluated to get their CGC Certificate? We’ve got your covered.

$30 to cover the evaluation and the paperwork.

Not sure your pup can handle a group class? We can schedule a 45 minute assessment to see if we think they can handle group or if they need some 1 on 1 time instead.

The $25 fee will go towards the price of a group class or private lesson but is not refundable. Lets meet at a park so I can see how your pup interacts with others.
